Memphis Welcomes New Catholic Bishop Martin D. Holley
Memphis welcomed the Most Rev. Martin D. Holley this week. Holley was installed as the fifth bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis on Wednesday. He has begun his tenure committed to 100 days of service hoping to learn more about the people in Memphis first hand and see what service projects are going on within in the diocese.
He began today, delivering Bouquets of Hope, from flowers re-purposed from his installation. He called on the elderly this morning, at Ave Maria Home and with students from St. Ann's Bartlett they delivered joy in the form of flowers, smiles and kind words to the residents.
