On the 79th anniversary of a lynching just outside of Memphis, Tennessee, the lynching victim's family members were present for a prayer service on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Community members gathered with his relatives for a candlelight vigil and prayer service, which was held to honor Jesse Lee Bond and to commemorate the 79th anniversary his lynching in Depot Square, Arlington, Tennessee. Depot Square was the site of the lynching. The service was organized by alumni from Arlington High School and the Lynching Sites Project of Memphis. "
